Dr Michael Carter studied a Bachelor of Health Science (Hearing & Speech) at the University of Sydney spending the majority of his time within the speech pathology department working with children and special needs patients. Dr Carter then attained a Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Sydney, graduating with Honours. His honours was completed with the Orthodontic Department at Sydney Dental Hospital. To further his education, Dr Carter undertook a rotation at the Children’s Hospital Westmead increasing his experience working with children, medically complex patients and special needs patients. He enjoys all aspects of Dentistry but is passionate about oral surgery, preventative dentistry and helping patients improve their oral health.


Committed to furthering his education, Dr Carter is currently studying Medicine at the University of Sydney. He aspires to become an Oral Maxillofacial surgeon so that he can provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date treatment for all patients.


Dr Carter is an avid sports fan who supports the NSW Waratahs, Wests Tigers and Arsenal FC. In his spare time he enjoys waterskiing, adventure sports and reading.
