The Damon System uses special Brackets and Wires to utilize the philosophy of moving teeth with light continuous forces. What this means is that treatment withthe Damon System typically takes less time and is less painful than traditional braces.  We used to extract teeth if your teeth were crowded or “crooked”. However, the great advantage of the Damon System is that in many cases where we traditionally needed to take out teeth, we can now keep them as this system allows “expanding ” of your jaw. It is the most advanced system in Orthodontics and usually the treatment we recommend when the treatment is complex or “difficult”.
